I created this company because I've noticed that a lot of small businesses don't receive the kind of design services they need to compete with some of their larger competition. I believe the reason for this is two-fold...
Many design firms start with the intentions of signing those large corporations to build their portfolio and make a name for themselves. While this isn't a bad thing, guess who pays their bills during their start-up time? That's right, small business. These design firms often take on "small" projects from small businesses in order to pay their monthly bills while they're working towards the big clients. Though it does make sense for the design firm to do this, they often aren't providing their best work to these smaller projects. Then once they have all those big clients, they're going to refer you out to some other design firm opening it's doors.
Another reason we commonly see is that a lot of businesses hire freelance designers to complete a project for them. This can be a great solution for some and there are some great freelance designers out there. However, those great freelance designers are often the minority of the freelance pool. We often take on projects that either aren't completed because the freelance designer stopped answering their phone or projects that weren't completed properly because the designer doesn't have the proper skills or experience.
After seeing a lot of small businesses receive poor service and inferior quality, I decided it was time to take the leap and start offering the services we do. I feel it's time to better educate businesses on what good design is and how it's offered. We know that your "small" project isn't small to you and you can be assured that it will receive the attention it deserves.
Our target market is small business, not large and we'll always answer our phone.
